some say that they work at home.does that mean that they work as a lady of the night, or that there are that many jobs in china that you can work from home?

Ray why would you even imply that. What is wrong with you? If this is the way you might perceive Chinese women to be you might as well look elsewhere for a foreign bride.

home crafts, home shop.... why not ask them for specifics instead of presuming the worst?

there are many jobs they can do from home.
do not assume anything unless you ask many questions, over time, and consider all of the ladies answers. If you find yourself jumping to a conclusion, chances are you are way off base, and need to ask more questions before you put your foot into your mouth. be careful!

Ray,
a lot of the women in china sell things on a site there and i forget the name but its like our ebay. i still corespond with a young lady in guilin i met there and she sells cell phones and accesories online. she is a young girl only 21 but she has a very good sense of this and makes about 800 yaun a month from that. she works in a department store in guilin and this supplements her income very well doing this. at 53 years old i wish she was about 20 years older then i would try and develop a relationship with her but she is such a wonderful freind and when i go to china i will visit her and her family as a freind. so dont assume anything like that just ask her. ted

Ray in China many cities & towns have what is know in English a Shop -Houses. The family lives upstairs & on ground floor its a shop. It may be a small restaurant or Chinese 7/11 or clothing business or beauty palour or hairdresser or nail/ beauty shop or just a simple clothes washing service or as other commented on online as its known in China as: Alibaba...... similar to ebay and is big in Asia.Being a country of 1 plus Billion people you have use your head to provide some kind of service to survive and bring in money....... Ladies of the night ha ha ha thats mostly in back alleys or massage parlours and normally you may find the women working there are not locals as its considered very shamfull........ You need to read thru the lines Ray.. what could you do from home to make money.. weave baskets / make hairbands.. anything as long as its a consumerable product you will always make some money to live..!! and there you go>>

Ray,
There are some very strange people in this world mate, and you just have to be one of them!! I have to say, there are some people on this site that never ever ceases to amaze me.
The majority of questions asked on this forum, seem to have been written by mindless children of mature years, that haven't been able to master their own life in their own country. Yet here they are, fumbling around in the dark, looking for a woman in a totally foreign country, thousands of miles away. The mind just boggles at what sort of catastrophe's they are putting themselves in and the women they get involved with in!!
I notice, that there are even some here that actually are trying to answer your question sensibly, Why?? I just don't know!! Your past any sort of help, that anyone here can give you, that's for sure....
If i where you mate, I'd go back to "life school" before attempting anything outside of your present life box. Better for You and the Women here!!

David, my sentiments exactly, could not in good conscience answer that either and agree on your assessment of him being hopeless and childlike.
