there is a finance visa. require toget married in 6 months (a MUST GET MARRIED IN SIX MONTHS or go back home)

it is really really hard to get that visa. the crap that the us government puts up is NUTS! (brain surgery is easier). it is easier and cheaper to get married in China and let her go through the process. the major cities have little to no waiting periods for the embassy. HK, Beijing, Shanghai.

Citizenship is not instant upon arrival. check out the us department of state website for the exact details.

take lots of pictures of both of you with a current front page newspapers to show to the interviewer that you are not scamming the US government (marriage for profit) Proof that this is your spouse and not a business.

Todd, You have to give move info then this? If she comes to the US on a tourist visa? Which is very hard to get in the first place. Getting married then would be a big no no. They don't like being fooled and will give you/her a hard time with any other visa. Bring her over on a fiancé visa (K1) and you have 90 days to marry or she returns to China. But this takes many months to get also. Don't try to fool the gov. you'll lose in the end.

Todd, I've actually heard that one out of a thousand women are granted the tourist visa if they don't meet the requirements, {own property/have 50,000 - 100,00 rmbs on bond by the government/strong family ties to insure she returns to China}. Closest you could end up getting would be the Fiancee visa which Vince suggested. If it was that easy all the guys on here would be going that route. Personally, I never considered that way ever. When I marry in the near future I'll just apply for my girl's tourist visa, {she qualifies for all three of the above and has traveled to America many times before. There is no easy way of dealing with Chinese beaucracy, {Red Tape} where do you think that expression came from? I know because in Chinese red is a sacred color, not. Never try fancy footwork with government officials because they play hardball. TIC, this is China, live it love it learn it. Nothing is simple here, complicated covolouted is a way of life here.
